AI influencers: characters who don't exist and earn for real

Aitana López doesn't exist and makes between €3,000 and €10,000 a month. An AI-created influencer never gets tired, charges no fee and posts every day. Imagine twenty at once.

She has pink hair, more than 300,000 followers and charges up to €1,000 per post. Her name is Aitana López, she lives in Barcelona and she doesn't exist.

An agency created her with artificial intelligence, and she makes between €3,000 and €10,000 a month from brands and exclusive content. She doesn't get tired. She charges no fee. She has no bad days. And she posts every day.

What an AI influencer is

A character with a face, a name, a style and a life to tell, created with AI image and video tools. You decide who they are, what they talk about and who they talk to. The AI provides the photos and videos. And the audience follows them like any other creator, because what hooks people is the story.

The big brands are already in. Lil Miquela, the pioneer, has worked with Prada, Calvin Klein and Samsung. For a brand, she's the perfect creator: no controversies, no impossible schedules and the message exactly the way they want it.

A creator who works every day, never gets tired and charges no fee.

How it makes money

Just like a flesh-and-blood influencer: brand collaborations, affiliate marketing, subscriptions, 18+ content and digital products. The difference is in the margin: here there are no photo shoots, no travel and no stylists. And the money grows with the size of the profile:

Profile sizePer monthPer post
Nano · 1,000–10,000$0–300$25–150
Micro · 10,000–50,000$300–2,500$100–600
Mid · 50,000–200,000$2,500–10,000$500–2,000

Indicative income of AI influencers by number of followers, with active monetization. They are not a guarantee of income.

18+ content: subscriptions paid every month

Erotic content is another way to monetize an AI influencer, and it's completely legal: content for over-18s, with fictional, adult characters. Fans pay a subscription, so the income repeats every month.

It's the OnlyFans model, applied to virtual characters. These are the best-known subscription platforms and what each one allows:

PlatformWhat you sellWith AI influencers
FanvueSubscriptions and 18+ contentYes: it verifies the AI creator and gives them their own label
PatreonSubscriptions and exclusive content for all audiencesYes, no nudity: realistic AI-made 18+ content can't be monetized
OnlyFansSubscriptions and 18+ contentOnly with the verified real person behind it

The usual approach is to combine them: Patreon for the community and exclusive content, Fanvue for 18+. Aitana López, for example, combines brand collaborations with her exclusive content on Fanvue.

Brands by day, subscribers every month. The same character, two sources of income.

The maths with twenty characters

You don't need a phenomenon like Aitana. You need twenty modest characters, each with its niche, posting daily from its own phone:

One Synark Station · 20 AI influencers posting every day

20 profiles × €420 a month × 12 months

≈ €100,000 a year

  • €420a month per profile, in the lower part of a micro profile ($300–2,500)
  • 10–50kfollowers per profile

A long way from the €3,000–10,000 a single successful character makes.

Indicative figures, based on public market data. They are not a guarantee of income.

How to set it up

  1. Design the character: name, look, niche and tone. Ideally a niche with brands behind it: fashion, fitness, travel, tech or video games.
  2. Generate the content with AI. Photos and videos with the same face in every post: consistency is what builds an audience.
  3. Upload it to the box. Each phone posts on its character's profile, every day.
  4. Monetize as soon as there's an audience. Affiliate from the start; brands, from around 10,000 followers.
  5. Say it without fear: it's AI. The characters that make the most say so openly and make it part of their charm.

Why on real phones

You create the content on the computer. But every profile lives in an app, and every app lives on a phone. Twenty characters need twenty phones, each with its stable session and its own usage, not twenty profiles taking turns on a single phone.

Twenty loose phones

  • Cables and chargers all over the desk
  • A power strip working overtime
  • Checking them one by one to see if they work
  • Batteries that swell with constant use
  • Every new phone, more mess

One Synark Station

  • Everything organised. Twenty phones in a rack box, no loose cables on the desk.
  • All on one screen. You control all twenty from your computer.
  • One plug and one network cable for all twenty.
  • At a glance. One light per phone tells you which one is working.
  • It grows with you. Stack another box and add twenty more.

It's controlled over ADB, the Android standard, so whatever you automate works for one box or for six. And when twenty characters aren't enough, you stack another box.

What people ask us most

Do I need to know design?

No. AI image tools do the heavy lifting. You provide the judgement: who the character is and what they say.

Do you have to say it's AI?

Yes, and it works in your favour. Since August 2026, the European AI law requires disclosure when a realistic image or video is generated with AI. And the characters that work best were already doing it.

Is it legal to make money with erotic content made with AI?

Yes. It's adult content, legal as long as it's aimed at over-18s and the characters are fictional and adult. Like any realistic image made with AI, it's labelled as AI.

When do you start earning?

Affiliate, from the first few months. Brand collaborations, once the profile passes around 10,000 followers.

You create the characters. The box puts them to work posting, twenty at a time. Meet the Synark Station.
